Deb Casey

Windows & Webs is the name of my small business located on the Rockwell City, Iowa town square. The shop has been in operation since October 2011. I make works of art from sheets of flat glass and transform it into something you can hang in your windows or display in your home. Products range from sun-catchers to large panel windows. Three dimensional items are available such as candle shelters, picture frames, business card holders and jewelry boxes of any size. Custom orders and repairs are welcome.

I enjoy the medium of glass.  It presents a physical challenge and requires absolute focus. I do a large variety of work from bulbs to paperweights, to fish, and vases.

I am a glass artist who specializes in lamp work and fused glass. I love sharing my art with others and will demonstrate whenever possible.  I've been published in Better Homes & Gardens 3 times and enjoy sharing my passion with visitors at the Iowa State Fair. Teaching others to melt glass makes my heart smile.

Jim and Julie Vermeer

Jim and Julie have created unique glass art for the past 10 years. Fusing art glass provides us with the freedom to experiment and manipulate glass by color, texture, shape, and how a piece will be used, be it a functional serving plate, platter, bowl or a decorative piece of art. There are infinite possibilities when fusing with art glass that can be very exciting and challenging.

Our kiln-formed glass is either fully fused or tacked fused to provide texture and depth. If a shape is desired, second firing occurs on a ceramic mold and slumped at a lower temperature.
